overview of Models

Beide Modelle vom RAK liegend

We start with a small neck knife called RAK. It has a sax blade, which can also pass for a sheepsfoot blade due to its shape, and bears the deep-etched Berserk Blades logo on the ricasso. Its high-set flat grind promises very good cutting properties and is eager for any task.

The small and slightly angular design of the full-tang knife surprises with its generous finger choil, which makes it very comfortable to hold, even with large hands. The small box cutter nimbly and gallantly makes its way through its everyday tasks. The jimping on the back of the blade supports the cutting movements to provide the necessary grip during use.
This 3-finger knife is equipped with 3D-milled handle scales made of blasted black acrylic, which is very rarely found as a handle material in the knife world. It is stable, weather-resistant and gives the RAK an elegant and modern look. To enable a handle extension, the neck knife has an eyelet in the lower handle area for attaching a lanyard.
The RAK is stored in an indestructible Taco sheath made of Kydex material with a comfortable thumb ramp. The eyelets allow, for example, the attachment of so-called belt loops for horizontal carry (Scout Carry) on the belt, which are available separately from us. If you prefer, you can also fit a narrow Ulti clip or simply carry the RAK around your neck with the black link chain included in the scope of delivery, concealed under your clothing.
In order to keep the blade as clean as possible, we have deliberately decided against laser marking the steel grade used. The RAK is made from 9CR18MOV steel, which corresponds to the solid and proven 440C stainless steel and guarantees a long edge retention and can be easily resharpened.

The RAK is available in two versions: in completely dark black with a PVD-coated blade and screws or with a blade in a stonewash finish. The scope of delivery includes a storage box, necklace and Berserk Blades sticker.

Details:

  • Blade material: 9Cr18Mov
  • Handle material: Acrylic blasted
  • Total length: approx. 15cm
  • Blade length: approx. 7.5cm
  • Blade thickness: approx. 3mm
  • Weight: approx. 45g (incl. Kydex and chain approx. 63g)
  • Incl. storage box, chain and sticker
Beide Modelle vom YARR liegend

The YARR not only makes an impression with its overall length of just over 30 centimetres. The YARR is a full-size fixed blade that, like the small RAK, has a Viking sax blade, but the angle at the tip of the blade is smaller, making it all the easier to point. The tip is therefore also relatively delicate and it should be clear that the YARR is not designed as a bushcraft knife, for example.

The 4 mm thick blade made of Böhler N690 stainless steel is ground flat over almost its entire length and promises excellent results with an edge length of approx. 17.2 cm. A functional jimping and the deep-etched Berserk Blades logo adorn the back of the blade and ricasso towards the handle area.

The handle of this full-tang knife inherits the unmistakable large finger choil from the small RAK, which is a key feature of this series and ensures a comfortable hand position and balance. Handle scales made of 3D-milled and blasted black acrylic give the YARR a modern, clean look and achieve a pleasant feel when holding the knife. The acrylic, which is rarely used in the knife world, is very sturdy and weather-resistant at the same time. In order to be able to install a lanyard, the YARR has a hole in the lower part of the handle end that follows the contour for attachment.
The knife is carried in a sheath made of indestructible and weather-resistant Kydex. A thumb ramp increases comfort when pulling out the knife. A large number of eyelets allow the attachment of a wide variety of carrying systems. The popular Tek-Lok carrying system is included in the scope of delivery, which makes the knife horizontally or vertically. We also offer so-called belt loops for our models, which can be attached to the eyelets and thus enable horizontal carrying across the belt (scout carry).

The YARR is available in two versions: in completely dark black with a PVD-coated blade and screws or with a blade in a stonewash finish. Included in delivery is a storage box, Berserk Blades PVC patch and stickers.

Details:

  • Blade material: Böhler N690
  • Handle material: Acrylic blasted
  • Total length: approx. 30.3cm
  • Blade length: approx. 19.6cm
  • Blade thickness: approx. 4mm
  • Weight: approx. 190g (incl. Kydex approx. 282g)
  • Incl. storage box, patch and sticker

The third model in our range is the THARN. It is a compact, fixed-blade, EDC-friendly knife that, like the RAK and the YARR, has a Viking Sax blade but is of medium size and has a tip that is stable under load for everyday cutting tasks. This model rounds off the series between the small RAK and the large impressive YARR, completing the ‘Trio infernal’.

The 4 millimetre thick blade made of Böhler N690 stainless steel is flat-ground and promises excellent results with a cutting length of approx. 10.5 cm. The handle features functional jimping and the deeply etched Berserk Blades logo on the blade spine and ricasso. The handle of this full-tang knife adopts the unmistakable large finger choil from the YARR and the RAK, which is a main feature of this series and ensures a comfortable hand position and balance. The handle scales made from 3D-milled and sandblasted black acrylic give the THARN a modern and clean look and provide a comfortable feel when holding the knife. The acrylic, which is rarely used in the knife world, is very strong and weather resistant. The THARN has a hole at the bottom of the handle for attaching a lanyard, should you wish to do so. The knife is carried in a sheath made of indestructible and weatherproof Kydex. A thumb ramp increases comfort when pulling out the knife. The grommets on the Kydex allow the attachment of a wide variety of carrying systems. Included in the scope of delivery is the popular multi-mounting system, which allows the knife to be carried horizontally or vertically. Furthermore, we offer so-called belt loops for our models, which can be attached to the grommets, thus enabling horizontal carrying at right angles to the belt (scout carry).

The THARN is available in two versions. Depending on your preference, in completely dark black with a PVD-coated blade and screws or with a blade in a stonewash finish. The set includes a storage box, Berserk Blades PVC patch and sticker.

Details:

  • Blade material: Böhler N690
  • Handle material: acrylic, blasted
  • Total length: approx. 22.2 cm
  • Blade length: approx. 11.2 cm
  • Blade thickness: approx. 4 mm
  • Weight: approx. 134 g (incl. Kydex and multi-mounting system approx. 209 g)
  • Incl. storage box, patch and sticker

Berserk Blades BROK, brutal chic for your pocket! The BROK skilfully matches the futuristic and dynamic design of the models with a fixed blade. This framelock folder is a very useful EDC folding knife that can easily hold its own against the big competition in this segment! The CPM S35VN blade, made of powder metallurgical steel in Wharncliffe/Viking style, has a so-called full flat grind, which is very easy to cut and makes a wide variety of cutting tasks an experience. The blade is 4 mm thick at the spine and tapers slightly towards the tip.

The handle scales of the BROK are made of titanium, with milled pockets on the inside to make the folding knife light, nimble and EDC-compatible. The 3D-milled and contoured shape of the handle scales is modelled on the fixed-blade models and brings the family together. The BROK does not have a conventional axle screw on the front, but a so-called ‘pivot island’ in the shape of the brand logo, which has also been 3D-milled. This means that any visible or distracting blade labelling could be dispensed with, guaranteeing a very clean overall look for the knife.

Matching the fixed blades, the BROK also has a large and pronounced finger choil, which allows the knife to be gripped and used comfortably with large or small hands. Thanks to this choil, this folder with a sax blade can easily be opened with a Spy-flick or point-flick, as the hole in the blade is exactly in the area of the finger choil when closed. As an additional opening aid, the blade joint also has a discreet flipper that allows the smooth-running blade to be flicked out of the handle, as it runs on ball bearings. At the same time, the flipper also serves as a guard that prevents the index finger from slipping onto the sharp edge.

The BROK also impresses with a backspacer and pocket clip made of milled titanium. In addition, the locking mechanism has a hardened steel insert, as usual, to prevent so-called lock stick.
The folder has a total length of approx. 21.5 cm, making it easy and loose to carry in an EDC-compatible area, while also being suitable for knife fans with larger hands. In addition, the total weight is just over 100 g, so you hardly notice it in your pocket. The blade has a cutting length of approx. 9.4 cm and is ground to 15 degrees on each side. The BROK is available in two limited editions. On the one hand, a completely dark black version with PVD coating and stonewash finish on the blade and handle, and on the other hand, a light version with a stonewashed blade, handle, backspacer and clip.

The package includes a branded zipper case, a PVC patch and a logo sticker.

This knife, designed and developed by Berserk Blades, is produced by the renowned manufacturer WE Knife.
